An exciting role for a motivated and detail-oriented SEQT Coordinator to join an award-winning company on a full-time basis.

The Role

Join our team as a SEQT Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and make an impact while working alongside our talented and experienced SEQT team who will provide ongoing support and guidance.

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and quality standards.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide advice and guidance on safety best practices and legislative requirements to site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with Quattro reporting and safety KPI's for the Byrnecut Group and project.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety and compliance training for all site personnel, including inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain training records and assist in the development and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, environmental, quality, and training systems and processes.
  • Support the implementation of company-wide initiatives to enhance SEQT performance.
  • Actively promote a culture of safety and operational excellence across all levels of the workforce.

About You

  • Minimum five years' experience in a SEQT Coordinator role or equivalent
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (WHS)
  • Possess solid working knowledge and understanding of current safety legislation
  • Experience in conducting incident investigations is required
  • Underground experience is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel to site
  • Knowledge of INX, Procore, MS Suite, iCam and TapRooT is highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
